Also, compared to the Kirin 970, it has a CPU that is up to 75% more powerful, a GPU that is up to 46% more powerful and an NPU that is up to 226% more powerful. The battery, meanwhile, of 4200 mAh, supports fast charging at 40 W with Huawei SuperCharge. This allows the smartphone to be charged to 70% in just 30 minutes.
AI, a must-have technology for this range of smartphones
The Huawei Mate 20 also features an AI Cinema mode. It allows you to fine-tune the contrast, saturation and brightness of video clips in real time. Furthermore, the use of artificial intelligence allows Huawei Mate 20 devices to isolate a person and desaturate the colors around them to highlight the subject. In terms of photography, some new features have also been introduced. Indeed, Huawei continues to innovate by adding a new ultra-wide angle lens designed with Leica. As a result, it offers a focal length equivalent to a full-frame 16mm sensor. The new camera also supports macro photography. This allows for sharp images of objects as close as 2.5 cm from the lens.
