Since its establishment in 2011, 17 editions of the Startup Weekend have already been carried out in Reunion, including 3 on the theme of the social and solidarity economy. This latest edition was launched in 2019 on the small island, and was thus the first on a French-speaking scale.

Co-organized by the Webcup association, the Port City Council, the CRESS – Regional Chamber of Social and Solidarity Economy of Reunion Island, and the TCO, this 3rd opus of the Startup Weekend entirely dedicated to the social and solidarity economy gathered 65 people, including 9 project leaders selected among 34 candidates.

Thus, the prize-giving ceremony, co-organized by the CRESS – Regional Chamber of the Social and Solidarity Economy of Reunion Island, the City of Le Port, the TCO and the Webcup association, was the occasion to reward the work done by the teams during this 3rd opus of the SSE Startup weekend.

4 projects selected

As we mentioned in this article, 4 of the 9 projects proposed were rewarded after 54 hours of work.
