YUVA Entrepreneurship Programme 2017: become your own boss!

To become an entrepreneur, to create your own company, to be free of your actions, it is the dream of all those who do not want to be captive of the daily routine anymore. For those of you who want to escape from the office and grow by becoming self-employed, the YUVA Entrepreneurship Programme (YEP) is for you! This is a free four-week program to equip startups with the core skills needed to launch and manage the business early in its growth.

The YUVA Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) operates on the belief that entrepreneurship and business skills are teachable skills. In close collaboration with the Safe Sha training centre, YUVA brings together the best tools to teach and perfect entrepreneurial skills in Mauritius, in the right setting. The results are viable and robust businesses, which generate new jobs, more income and ultimately expand Mauritius’ private enterprise sector.

YUVA: breaking the cycle of poverty and ensuring a bright future

Youth Unitetd Voluntary Action (YUVA) started with a group of enthusiastic individuals, and today it mobilizes thousands of young people to create a better future for the children and youth of Mauritius. At the heart of YUVA’s duty is the conviction that the collective future of the human race is linked.

YUVA

The association aims to make a long-term impact by helping children and young people living in poverty, or those who only have access to the bare necessities. It has a bold vision: to provide quality education, good health, self-reliance and employment for young people through the various programs offered. The association thus aspires to break the cycle of poverty and ensure a bright future for the children and youth of Mauritius. Furthermore, the values of the association are based on the assumption that the leadership of our generation is not a unique concept, but embodies the challenge of bringing together people from diverse fields and cultures. YUVA aims to build leadership that is reflected not only in different communities, but also in our policies.
