Africa CEO Forum returns to Africa in 2018

The 6th edition of the AFRICA CEO FORUM, the international reference meeting for decision-makers and financiers of the African private sector, will be held on 26 and 27 March 2018 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Africa’s largest annual private sector eventThe AFRICA CEO FORUM, which alternates between Africa and its international headquarters in Geneva, mobilizes each year nearly 1,200 business leaders, investors, policy makers and journalists from more than 70 countries, including about 40 Africans, to highlight African capitalism and advance the issues essential to the future of the continent and its businesses.

As a symbol of this dynamic, the 2017 edition has particularly contributed to highlighting the need for Africa to rethink its economic model to strengthen and sustain its growth, in particular by unleashing innovation and the entrepreneurial energies of young people and women, by increasing the continent’s attractiveness to international investors or by encouraging the creation of more strongly exporting activities. After this fifth meeting marked by an ever increasing participation, it is in the economic capital of Côte d’Ivoire that the continent’s top decision-makers will once again meet.

“For this new event, we have chosen an African country with a local private sector that is increasingly performing well and remains a preferred destination for investors from around the world. As evidenced by the recent raising of nearly 2 billion dollars on the international financial markets,” explains Amir Ben Yahmed, Founder and Chairman of the AFRICA CEO FORUM.
