It is to be noted that this event is the largest of its kind in Mauritius.

A community-based conference

Since 2015, the Developers Conference has been organized in partnership with local and international companies. As in previous years, access to the event is free. In addition, this three-day information technology event is community-oriented. The Developers’ Conference is organized in cooperation with local ICT entities.

A real opportunity for professionals

The event will also feature local and international speakers from many countries. It will be an opportunity for those present to create or increase their network of contacts, and to do business. In addition, participants can learn about the latest software development technologies, methodologies, as well as cloud functionality and infrastructure.

A range of tools available to developers

The goal of the conference, however, is to provide local software developers with a range of tools, practices and principles. This is to address the current challenges in the Mauritian software development environment. They will also be able to keep up with the latest technologies and trends to meet the challenges of working in large enterprise systems. This is an opportunity to gain experience, but also to gather ideas and pragmatic advice. Not to mention the opportunity to connect with their peers in the industry.

An event that grows over the years

Each year, this event is getting bigger and bigger. The proof is in the 24 international speakers who will be present at this edition. The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hotel Voila in Bagatelle. In cooperation with Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB), the award ceremony of this year’s MCB InovApp challenge will be held during the closing session on Saturday 13 April at 5pm at the Voila Hotel.
