The Startupweekend O Féminin, a special edition where women entrepreneurs were honored, has come to an end. The three winners of this contest have been chosen and they are “Méthode Dragons”, “Kel Cari?” and “Kdi’ Péi”. As a reminder, these project holders had 54 hours to set up their startup, from March 22 to 24. 11 projects were in competition for this 12th edition of the Startupweekend in Reunion Island.
54 hours, 3 days, one weekend to create a startup
A major challenge, but one that was brilliantly met by Brigitte L’homme, Aude Brisset and the duo Sarah Piccioli and Cynthia Contini. This is indeed the winning trio of this 12th Startupweekend. These entrepreneurs and their competitors were given 54 hours to develop their project and present it to the jury. Out of the 26 ideas initially pitched, only 11 were selected for the O Féminin Startupweekend.
Startupweekend O Féminin: women entrepreneurs in the spotlight
This special edition of “women entrepreneurs” was an opportunity for these ladies to create a startup that conveys strong and visionary values. In addition, this edition welcomed 116 participants. Students and professionals, entrepreneurs, employees and job seekers, among others, were present. In addition, a team of 20 coaches, including 10 women, has been set up to advise them. About fifteen volunteers were also part of this Startupweekend organized by the association Webcup.
Undertaking for the development of Reunion Island
The ideas were each more innovative than the last, with strong values and projects that thrilled all those present! This is what this first Startupweekend of the year was all about.
