A collaboration has been signed between Axian and The Camp, an international digital innovation institute based in France. The aim of this partnership is to promote young Malagasy talent within the framework of the Hive program.
Bringing together 20 young creatives from around the world for a collaborative residency to hack the future, that’s the goal of the Hive. This partnership makes the Axian entrepreneurship program a true platform for recruiting young talent to a European innovation hub. The Malagasy group also joins The Camp as a “Talent Scout Partner” to spot the pearls of tomorrow.
Explore and hack the world of tomorrow
A collaborative expedition will be carried out with this in mind, with the aim of exploring and hacking the world of tomorrow. But not only! Indeed, it will also be a question of providing concrete solutions to universal challenges such as energy and education. The profiles concerned are all those with a good command of English, the fields of art and design, engineering or programming, as well as innovation management.
Supporting Malagasy start-ups and SMEs
This project aims to support Malagasy start-ups and small businesses in their development, in order to consolidate the national entrepreneurial fabric. While the Hive is in its3rd edition, this is the first time that young Madagascans will take part in the adventure. From March 21 to July 30, 2019, this training will welcome extremely diverse profiles. Indeed, no diploma requirement will be imposed during the selection process. Self-taught candidates are also welcome. The young recruits will be supported for 6 months in residence, with a scholarship status. They will receive a stipend of 600 euros at The Camp.
Hive and Axian: strengthening links between African and European innovation ecosystems
The signing of this partnership confirms the complementary nature of Axian and Hive’s visions and objectives. Together, they wish to build a common destiny between Africa and Europe through collaboration and the pooling of expertise between two ecosystems.
This partnership was born from the common ambition to create and promote an international network of innovative creatives. In addition, it aims to maximize the participation of Malagasy talent in the Hive residency. This rapprochement gives the participants the chance to confront global challenges. They will also be able to put their creativity to the test: a real opportunity for openness and enrichment.
