Indian Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Kalraj Mishra, who is visiting Mauritius, graced the ceremony with his presence, which was not fortuitous as the sector contributes to 40% of total exports from the Greater Peninsula.

He said, “We have a highly diverse SME sector and we want to work with the Mauritian government to help them, especially in terms of access to technology.”

During these three days, the 90 companies present, including many from India for the occasion, were able to establish contacts with suppliers while exploring the latest technology.
