Accenture Academy is now recruiting itsthird class. Moreover, Rinayah Appadoo, project manager at Accenture Mauritius, explains that the first batch of students is currently undergoing training with them. He adds that they fit in with Accenture’s corporate culture. In addition, the trainees develop the skills and, above all, the attitude required to succeed in the IT field. For the new school year, students will have the opportunity to specialize in Business Intelligence or Development related to Microsoft technologies.

What profile for this training ?

As IT is a dynamic and constantly evolving field, this training offers a guarantee of employment. As a reminder, this program is aimed at candidates who already have a degree from a recognized university in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field and who wish to change their field of study by opting for computer science. In addition, the selection of candidates is based on a motivation interview. Thus, those who are retained are the profiles that have met the selection criteria, but also the entrepreneurial spirit of Accenture.

An innovative learning environment

With the creation of the Academy, Accenture is putting its educational and training potential at the service of local youth and IT professionals. The academy offers an innovative learning environment to enable young talent to develop and unleash their potential. Accenture trains its future employees to ensure that their skills are always relevant to the needs of clients.

Supporting growth and filling the skills gap in this sector

Skills in this area are in short supply. So that’s the whole point of this program, which is to address the skills gap in this industry. This program also supports the desired growth and fills the skills gap in the IT sector. FYI, classes will begin in March 2019. Tuition fees are funded by Accenture Mauritius and the HRDC.
