a mobile application to follow the news of the town

The City of Saint-Paul, on Reunion Island, has launched its mobile application. The latter is free and available on both the Google Play Store and the App Store. This tool, developed by the Saint-Paul City Council, was designed to follow in real time the news related to the life of the commune.

A mobile application dedicated to the city of Saint-Paul

Whether you are a resident or a visitor to Reunion Island, the Ville de Saint-Paul mobile application may be of interest to you. Proposed by the City Council, it allows you to follow in real time all the news of the city. All the practical information is listed there. From events to concerts, bad weather to schools, the app covers all the important news and information.

Ville de Saint-Paul : free on the App Store and Google Play Store

Available for a few months now, the app is available on the Google Play Store and the App Store, for Android and iOS users. Thus, users can consult practical information, schools, construction sites, development projects, events, concerts or administrative procedures at any time. In addition, institutional information, life in the neighbourhoods and the cultural and sports agenda are also available. All of this, accompanied by photos and videos.

Push notifications to stay connected to the news

St. Paulers and other users of the app will also receive push notifications. These will allow them to follow the life of the city live. This tool was developed internally by the Communication Department of the Saint-Paul City Council. This initiative follows in the footsteps of the city of Saint-Denis, which had also launched its app in 2016. Resolutely in the air of time, the applications want to make accessible all the essential information of the daily life.

Saint-Paul: a connected city

Saint-Paul is resolutely positioned as a city connected to all its inhabitants. Indeed, it provides them with digital tools to give them the opportunity to find the information they want. Moreover, with this new application, mobile users can find what they are looking for, wherever they are in the country. School closures, bad weather, swimming bans… all accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Centralize community information

In addition, the commune of Saint-Paul can be followed via its Facebook and Twitter pages as well as its website. The information concerning the community is thus centralized and accessible to all. Social networks, website, newsletter and app: in the digital age, all information is available at the click of a button. The City of Saint-Paul application has already been downloaded more than 1,000 times on the Google Play Store, while its Facebook page has surpassed the 15,000 followers mark.
