“Osmose Evolution”, a project in favor of sustainable development and the production of drinking water was designated the first winner of this new edition.

Co-organized by the association Webcup and the French Tech Reunion, this 1st opus of the Startup Weekend
entirely dedicated to #Tech4good has achieved its objective: to see the emergence of projects whose activities
are based on a principle of sustainable development, according to the 17 criteria laid down by the UN. Defined as technology for the common good, Tech for Good aims to anticipate the negative impacts of the industrial and digital revolution, while continuing to improve our daily lives.

Osmose évolution, winning project

The event brought together more than 100 people, including 10 project leaders and 25 coaches for 54
hours of work, fun, coaching and stress. At the end of these 54 hours, a jury of experts had the difficult task of deciding between the ten projects that competed. Osmose évolution was thus designated the first winner of this 19th edition of Startup Weekend. Led by Gildas Kerneur, this project proposes a water recycling solution (pollution and salt) thanks to solar technology.

Where you go you will find, thanks to this event I found the acceleration of my project,
a great deal of gratitude, competent partners like Sébastien who, for the record, was

all the people who have an idea to participate in this event, it was incredible, and I am
all the more happy that I will be a father and will be able to leave a better world to the generations
future
“Gildas testified with emotion.
