The Techstars Startup Weekend is organised by the Outsourcing and Telecommunications Association of Mauritius, the Mauritius IT Industry Association and the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the National Computer Board, operating under the Ministry of Technology, Communication and Innovation.

Start-up bootcamp: upgrading and coaching

Beforehand, the organizers have also planned a “start-up bootcamp”. Don’t panic, it won’t be about sweating, but rather about upgrading and coaching those who will be in the running. Moreover, La Turbine, the Mauritian incubator of the ENL group, allowed the participants to get a foot in the start-up world on Saturday 18 August. They were able to learn about this field.

The Test Drive Turbine

The free training program “Test Drive” is aimed at the creation and implementation of innovative ideas. These can come from any individual or team that has identified a new opportunity. It could also be a solution to a relevant and existing problem in the life of companies or individuals.
